300m International Prone and 3P


The 300m International target is the most difficult of all targets and because of this it is only shot at two other ranges Ft. Benning and up at a range in Minnesota.  Along with a hard target the course of fire is also tough but with continued shooting it will help make better shooters of those that participate. 

Since the aiming blacks are just for aiming purposes competitors will aim at the MR-63 aiming black. However on the Shot Marker target system they will be shooting on the official NRA Target C-3.  

The matches will be conducted after the saturday mid-range matches.  

Course of Fire:

Prone: Unlimited sighters and 60 shots in a time limit of 75 minutes

3P: Unlimited sighters and 20 shots in  30 minutes (prone)

Unlimited sighters and 20 shots in 50 minutes (standing)

Unlimited sighters and 20 shots in 40 minutes (kneeling)

Target: NRA Target C-3

Aiming Black White Rings

X ring: 1.8 inches 5 ring 22.6 inches

10 ring: 3.6 inches 4 ring 25.2 inches

9 ring: 7.2 inches 3 ring 28.8 inches

8 ring 10.8 inches 2 ring 32.4 inches

7 ring 14.4 inches 1 ring 36 inches

6 ring 18.0 inches

Rifle Types: 

300 Meter Free Rifle: This is the same as NRA High Power any rifle accept the caliber may not exceed .32cal (8mm) and not have a mirage band wider than 2.25"

NRA HP Match Rifle: Rifle as defined by NRA High Power Rule 3.3

NRA HP Service Rifle: Rifles as defined by NRA High Power Rules 3.1, 3.1.1, 3.1.2

Sights: Iron Sights only

Clothing/Equipment Specifications: Since these matches will be approved only clothing rule 3.11, Ground Cloth Rule 3.10, Thick Mat rule 3.10.1 will not be enforced.  All NRA approved clothing is permissible. 



* This will be fired after mid range with an aproximate starting time of around 1pm.
