Saturday - 8:00am to about 1pm ELR Clinic/Rookie Test session
This will be open to both ELR match shooters and CIHPRS Club members who want to try stretching their current rigs out to distances potentially past a mile. Focus would be on the Rookie ELR shooter.
We will have approximately 4 targets from about 900 to 2000 yards. The purpose of this will be to give shooters an opportunity to see what ELR is like, as well as those with some experience an opportunity to acquire data at some longer distances that are often unobtainable outside of match conditions. Spotters can also learn from those more experienced on how to look for trace, splash, and how to give timely corrections to their partner.
Open to all, light gun, heavy gun, and suitable F-Class or similar cartridges
Saturday - Afternoon Start of the 8 target Light Gun match. Will shoot the first 4 of 8 targets from approximately 900 to 1400 yards.
Sunday - 8:00am till done Light gun and Heavy Gun simultaneously, light will complete their remaining 4 targets out to about 2100 yards, Heavy Gun will have their normal 6 targets from about 1500 to 2200 yards.
